Monthly drinks: committee interest

It’s time again for our Monthly drinks. Beer, wine, bittergarnituur and a lot of chatting is to be caught up on. In addition, this time you can ask us everything there is to know about joining a committee, which is a great way to get to know your fellow members and to help make your association even more fun!
Halloween movie night

Halloween just passed for most people, but here it lingers a little while longer. During our movie night, we’ll see one or two movies that are suitable for everyone (even scaredy cats like me). Combined with snacks and hot chocolate, we’ll create a cosy environment. We’ll decide on the movie together on the night itself.

A day I didn’t dance is a day I didn’t live. But we won’t let it get to that, for every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month we’ll take care of the music and all you have to do, is bring those classy moves!Starting September 25, unlimited switching is allowed again during Leidance activities!*If you don’t have a USC subscription, you can get a day pass for only €6,55- to enter the building.

Come meet our new members! After the first years’ dinner, we’ll move to cafe de Keyzer for some drinks, so that you can all meet our new members. As usually, of course, there will be delicious ‘bittergarnituur’ and plenty of time to get to know each other.
Workshop clothing upcycling

Ever had one of your favourite trousers rip, or done away with a jacket because it was too boring, or a piece of clothing that was too long/too big? Fear not, for at the upcycling workshop you can learn how to fix those problems! Bring the piece of clothing you’re dissatisfied with to the workshop, and we’ll take a look at how to fix your problem so that you can take it home and start wearing it again.Here are a few examples of things you can bring:– Skirts/trousers/shirts that or too big– Trousers/skirt that need to be shortened– Any ripped piece of clothing– Socks/stockings that need darning– Any piece of clothing that you want to spruce up somehowTea and snacks will be provided, so there’s no excuse not to come!

The date stands and we’re not planning to have it delayed yet again, so triple write it in your calendars, because we’re going to bring your most magical fantasies to you. Whether you’re a princess, a knight, a frog or a witch, everyone is welcome at the ‘Tuinzaal’ in Grand café De Burcht, where you’ll find yourself in a completely different world, where things don’t work the way you’re used to.
