Leidance advanced Salsa
Every Monday, 21:10 – 22:05 @ USC dance hall
Did you follow all three Salsa levels, but wanna learn more? Come to the Leidance exclusive Salsa classes! You’ll learn even more advanced figures, and if you want, you can participate in the show team for the bi-annual USC dance show.
Saturday February 4, 15:00 – 17:00 @ USC canteen
On Monday the 6th of February, Leidance is turning 9 years old. We can’t let this special day go by without celebrating it. Therefore, we will bake a cake for you all to enjoy. Come join us this Saturday for some deliciously free cake! 
Tuesday February 7, 20:30 – 23:00 @ cafe de Keyzer
Beer, wine, FREE bittergarnituur and a lot of chatting is to be caught up on. Let’s get together again at our usual cafe. As usual, we’ll take care of the snacks as you bring the good vibes.
NTDS prep day
Saturday February 18, 10:00 – 16:00 @ USC
With this year’s NTDS coming closer, we will organize a prep day again, so that those participating (especially those joining for the first time), can ask all their questions and all the basics about competing in the NTDS. We will also have some technique classes, prepare the team presentation and offer private lessons to those interested. Not joining the NTDS? Not to worry, you may still join the classes!
Saturday February 18, 19:00 – 22:00 @ Vierlinghlaan 234, Leiden
After having danced the whole day, we take a nice rest while educating ourselves on this year’s NTDS theme: Jumanji. We will be watching at least one of the movies, maybe two if we find the time, and like always, Leidance will provide free snacks and drinks.
Tuesday February 21, 21:15 – 23:00 @ USC Multifunctional hall
During these hours there is room for free practice time for ballroom! Little or no experience? No problem! There will be more advanced dancers present to help you get through your first steps. Open and free to everyone with a USC subscription (or buy a day card for €7,15-). You can come find us in the USC multifunctional hall!
Saturday February 25, 20:00 – 01:00 @ Wesseling The Hague
Theme: Vegas Casino
Room 1: Ballroom
Room 2: Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba
Finally! On the 25th of February it’s time for our annual Leidance gala! There will be fancy outfits and lots of dancing. We have 2 rooms: one for ballroom (standard and latin) and one for salsa, bachata and kizomba. It is a great time to (re)connect with fellow Leidance members and members of our sister organisations. The theme is Vegas Casino, so bring a bag of money – or don’t. No worries, there will be no actual money gambling 😉 – have a whiskey or cocktail and find yourself a fancy outfit. In the meantime, practise your best dance moves for this night full of fun.
